New Found Style

This somewhat simple look takes a modern twist with the asymmetrical hemline and ankle-strap cap-toe heels. She keeps it tasteful with a black blazer and minimal accessories. I love the fact that she didn't stay matchy-matchy by selecting a pink belt and orange heels to complete the ensemble. This look is a definite do. Rating: 7.5/10

Brooklyn does the navy proud in this ensemble. It highlights her famous gams but is still somewhat conservative with the knee-length pencil skirt and higher necked tank. I'm not always a fan of matching accessories to the outfit but the yellow pumps are a great choice. Rating: 8.5/10

This Stella McCartney gown is to die for! The silhouette on Brooklyn is absolutely fabulous. Brooklyn dresses this look down by not adding any jewellery and keeping her hair down and simple. If more celebrities dressed like this the Earth would be a more beautiful planet. Rating: 9/10

The world renowned fashion designer turns 71 today! Owner and designer for her two labels: Vivienne Westwood and Vivienne Westwood Red Label. She was and still is a major influence in modern punk and new wave fashions.

Best of the Runway

Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear

As per usual black, grey and brown made their annual appearance in many designers' collections. Belted fur and wool coats were a regular on the runway. Religion inspired many designers which was seen through fabric and accessories. Some designer's opted for a lighter more airy feel like Chloé, Salvatore Ferragamo and Valentino by choosing lighter colours and fabrics.
