The icon turns 66 today! Depending on what generation you're from you'll know Cher for different reasons. She began her career in the singing duo Sonny and Cher in the mid-60s. She is also well known for her extravagant ensemble choices for both performances and for red carpet events. Most recently she co-starred in the film Burlesque alongside pop-sensation Christina Aguilera.
